Strawberry Avocado Salsa Recipe
- 1.5 cups (225g) fresh organic strawberries, steams removed, and diced
- 1 large ripe avocado, peeled, pit removed, and diced (150g)
- 1/2 small red onion, about 2-3 tablespoons (20g), finely diced
- 2 tablespoons (5g) fresh cilantro, chopped
- Fresh juice of 1 lime, about 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1-2g) pink or kosher salt, to taste, optional
- 1/8 teaspoons (0.5) ground four-blend or black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 small jalapeno (10-15g), diced, remove the seeds for less spice
Recommended Equipment
- Sharp knife – Essential for cleanly dicing strawberries, avocado, and onion
- Medium mixing bowl – To combine all ingredients
- Soft spatula or large spoon – To gently toss the salsa without mashing the avocado

How to Make Strawberry Avocado Salsa
Prep Produce: Gently rinse and pat dry the strawberries and cilantro. Hull and dice the strawberries. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and dice.
Mix: In a medium bowl, combine the diced strawberries, avocado, red onion, jalapeño (if using), and cilantro.
Tip – Make-Ahead: If preparing in advance, add the avocado just before serving to prevent browning.
Dress: Drizzle with lime juice and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.

Toss Gently: Use a soft spatula or spoon to mix just until combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the avocado chunks intact.
Serve: Enjoy immediately with tortilla chips or pita crisps, spoon over grilled chicken, shrimp, or fish, or use as a fresh topping for tacos.
Storage: Refrigerate the prepared salsa for up to 1 hour before serving. For best results, add avocado just before serving if storing ahead.
