How to Make Strawberry Kiwi Oat Tart

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch oven-safe baking dish with a little bit of almond oil.

For the Crust: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, quick-cooking oats, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Drizzle in the almond oil and mix until you achieve a crumbly texture. Press the oat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until the crust is golden brown. Then remove the dish to a wire rack and allow the crust to cool completely.

For the Glaze: While the crust is baking, in a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, honey, and dissolve cornstarch in lemon juice to make a slurry, and add that to the saucepan as well. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, bringing it to a boil, until it thickens slightly and forms a smooth glaze, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely.

Filling: While the crust and glaze are cooling, prepare the vanilla yogurt cream recipe and refrigerate it until ready to use.

Fruit Topping: Hull and dice the strawberries, and peel and dice the kiwi about the same size as strawberries. Then gently stir them into the cold glaze.
